Pohang reignited their lacklustre start to the season with the result of the night, beating Jeonnam 4-0. Son Joon-Ho scored two after Mun Chang-Jin opened the scoring for Pohang, with a late goal by Kim Seung-Dae completing the rout. Go Yo-Han scored the only goal of the game as Seoul overcame bottom placed Daejeon, while Seongnam and Incheon played out a goalless draw. In the K-League challenge, Sangju maintained their perfect start to the season with a 3-2 win over Eland, Yeo Sung-Hye grabbing a last minute winner for the home side. Goyang are in second place, level on points having played a game more than Sangmu, after winning one-nil against Gangwon.
