Jeonbuk go eight points clear at the top of the K-League with a two-nil victory at home to Suwon. Edu opened the scoring on 65 minutes with his fifth league goal of the campaign before Eninho sealed the victory five minutes later. The result stretched Jeonbuk’s lead at the top of the table although Ulsan could close the gap to five points if they win their game in hand. FC Seoul could only manage a draw at home to local rivals Seongnam. Kim Hyun-Sung gave Seoul an early lead but Seongnam equalised before the break with a Nam Jun-Jae goal and had several chances to come away from Sangam with all three points. Gwangju beat Jeonnam 3-2 to move up to seventh whilst Incheon beat Daejeon 2-1. It had been a long time coming but Seoul Eland got their first league win beating Suwon City 5-1 with Kim Jae Sung scoring two of the goals. Daegu took advantage of Suwon’s defeat to go two points clear at the top with a one-nil win over Gyeongnam. Goyang’s win over Bucheon means that they move up to second.
