A dramatic last minute goal gave Pohang a win against Jeonbuk Motors. The league leaders, famous for their last minute goals, let in a late strike by Shin Jin-Ho. The result gave Suwon a chance to close the gap on Jeonbuk but they failed to do so, losing one nil to Jeju United. Seoul gave themselves a reasonable chance of grabbing the final Champions’ League spot with a two-one win over Seongnam. Kim Seong-Jun gave Seongnam the perfect start, scoring in the first minute, Seoul fans had to wait until late in the game before Ko Yo-Han equalized in the eighty-sixth minute before Adriano scored at the death to give Seoul the three points. Down at the bottom Daejeon recorded a rare win at Jeonnam while Busan lost to Gwangju. In the K-League Challenge, Daegu’s winning run came to an end as they were defeated three-two by Goyang. Sangju reclaimed second place with a two-one win over Bucheon, while Suwon FC moved up to third place with a slightly flattering four-one win over Seoul Eland.
